magen's bay beach st thomas usvi
Magen’s Bay Beach

This is the largest and most famous beach in St. Thomas. Spanning a beautiful one-mile stretch of beach, this is a tourist must-see spot. The water is usually very calm in a protected bay. It’s more of a relax-and-wade beach than a snorkeling beach due to the sandy bottom and not much vegetation.

There is a beach bar that serves up burgers, pizza, and other snacks. You will pay a little more for food and drinks here as it’s a major tourist destination. This is also a national park so there is a small cover fee to help maintain its beauty.

You can rent paddle boards, SUPs, and chairs. It will be a bit more crowded during cruise ship days.

- Food available for purchase
- There are better beaches for snorkeling
- Public Restrooms available
- There are some rentals available
- Beach Chairs, - Umbrellas, - Fun in the Water (i.e. Paddle boards, 2 person sailboat, SUPs etc.)
